A sensitive and comprehensive restoration of the historic roof, involving complete lead renewal and preservation of key architectural features.

A roof, which has had quality lead work done on it. The building looks to be from the 1800's.

This project involved the complete removal and replacement of the lead roofing on the historic Queen’s College Chapel and Dining Hall. All works were carried out with the utmost care to preserve the building’s architectural integrity while upgrading the roof to modern performance standards. The scope included full lead sheet replacement, associated timber repairs, and detailed restoration of heritage features in line with conservation requirements. The result is a durable, weather-tight finish that respects the college’s historic character.
